Job Summary

The Business Analyst Level 3 is responsible for analyzing business processes gathering requirements and supporting system modernization initiatives. This role works closely with business stakeholders IT teams and project teams to evaluate business needs define system solutions and support the implementation of technology enhancements. The analyst will play a key role in ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Review analyze and evaluate business systems and user requirements to support strategic objectives.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams including architecture application support and project delivery teams.
Gather and document detailed business and functional requirements.
Analyze raw data and perform data analysis to support business decisions and system improvements.
Assist in business process analysis and business process reengineering to improve operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities to apply new technologies to solve business challenges.
Develop process maps and documentation using industry-standard methodologies.
Prepare solution options including risk analysis cost-benefit analysis return on investment (ROI) and buy vs. build evaluations.
Create detailed documentation outlining user needs program functionality and system modification requirements.
Support modernization projects and enhancement initiatives for enterprise systems.
Assist with project oversight documentation review and system enhancement delivery.
Work with multiple vendors and stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project goals.
Help establish processes and documentation standards to support consistent project execution and system integration.

Required Qualifications

8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role analyzing business systems and requirements.
Strong experience reviewing analyzing and evaluating business systems and user needs.
Proven experience performing business process analysis and business process reengineering.
Experience identifying technology solutions to address complex business challenges.
Experience serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.
Strong analytical communication and documentation skills.
Ability to independently plan and execute complex tasks with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in Agile environments preferably using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Strong experience as a Data Analyst including analyzing raw data and identifying trends.
Experience supporting large system modernization or enterprise technology projects.
Project management experience or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
