Reports to: Final Assembly Manager
Position Summary
TheFinal Packaging Technician is responsible for preparing finished products for shipment by packaging completed firearms and related components according to company standards. This role ensures all products are properly packaged documented and staged for distribution while maintaining accuracy and quality throughout the process.
The Final Packaging Technician works closely with thefinal assembly inventory and shipping teams to maintain efficient workflow and ensure finished goods are ready for delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Package finished firearms and related components according to company packaging standards and procedures
Build and assemble product packaging and shipping boxes
Complete and verify required documentation and production paperwork
Accurately clock and track packaging work through the companys production systems
Replenish packaging materials and maintain adequate inventory of supplies
Support workflow between final assembly inventory and shipping teams
Inspect finished products prior to packaging to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain an organized and clean packaging work area
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
Required Qualifications
Ability to liftat least 25 pounds without assistance
Ability tostand and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the workday
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow packaging procedures
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including shipping inventory and assembly
Basic organizational and documentation skills
Physical Requirements
Standing and walking for the majority of the work shift
Lifting carrying and moving materials up to25 pounds
Frequent use of hands for packaging assembling boxes and handling product
Work Environment
This position operates in amanufacturing environment and involves working with finished firearm products and packaging materials. Employees are expected to follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a professional and organized work area.
