• Sunday:2:30 PM until work is completed
• Monday - Thursday:4:30 PM until work is completed

Hours:Approximately 8 hours per day

Position Overview

The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse and distribution center duties related to receiving storing picking packing and shipping merchandise. This role plays an important part in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining safety compliance and quality standards within the distribution center.

During the initial phase of this assignment the facility is implementing a new refrigerated warehouse setup. While construction and installation are underway operations will temporarily utilize a modified conveyor this interim setup associates will manually handle totes and scan them to determine the correct destination within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment and Shipping

• Prepare customer orders for shipment by picking items from shelves and placing them into totes for packing and distribution.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Support outbound shipping operations and ensure proper order preparation.

Receiving and Inventory Handling

• Verify merchandise received against receiving documentation.
• Report discrepancies or visible damage to appropriate personnel.
• Stock warehouse shelves with incoming merchandise and rotate inventory to maintain proper stock usage.

Returns and Inventory Control

• Process returned merchandise perform necessary data entry and return items to the appropriate warehouse locations.
• Perform daily cycle counts and research inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory control procedures as required.

Warehouse Operations

• Handle totes and scan items to determine correct storage or shipping locations during the temporary conveyor setup.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and prevent damage to merchandise.
• Follow all warehouse operational procedures and safety guidelines.

Compliance and Safety

• Adhere to company policies procedures safety standards and DEA regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Participate in overtime and physical inventory activities when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand English for comparing product descriptions labels and documentation.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and exercise good judgment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

• Role involves standing walking lifting and handling warehouse materials during the shift.
• Flexibility to work overtime as operational needs require.
