Job Duties and Responsibilities:Position responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load mentoring students and service to the department college university and community. Teaching will be in Risk Management Insurance and Finance courses and possibly introductory to business-related courses. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to an educational environment that supports learning for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
MBA or masters degree with specialization in Finance Risk Management Insurance or related field from an AACSB-accredited institution.
Equivalent Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
o An insurance broker license RIMS-CRMP ARM CPCU CLU or CIC is desirable but not required.
o Teaching experience or strong desire to teach insurance risk management and finance.
o Professional experience in risk management insurance or finance fields.
o Experience with operational knowledge or willingness to learn AI is a plus.
o Demonstrated commitment to service.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.
