Job Summary

This position is for a Girls Head Tennis Coach at Pittsburg High School.

Duties are as follows but not limited to:

Recruit train and retain girls tennis players.
Monitor academic progress and attendance throughout season.
Create organize and maintain accurate inventory records of gear equipment and supplies and provide digital copy to AD at beginning and end of each season.
Assist AD with creating a competitive schedule.
Attend and coordinate all practices competitions team meetings.
Work cooperatively with booster club parents staff teachers and administration.
Effectively manage assistant coach by providing leadership organization and direction.
Develop a team handbook outlining expectations rules and policies for being a tennis team member.
Provide effective instruction in training and skill development.
Oversee team travel and logistics and communication.
General care of tennis complex/courts.
Other duties as assigned.
