Position Overview:

As a newly independent publicly traded global company operating across 22 countries the Company is building a modern controlled procurement function supported by Coupa and enterprise vendor risk governance.

The Procurement Operations & Engagement Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for Engagement Owners and business leaders navigating the procurement process. This role provides hands-on support across sourcing vendor onboarding purchase requisitions risk reviews and system workflows.

This position is responsible for helping stakeholders understand and move efficiently through procurement requirements while ensuring compliance with vendor risk financial controls and policy standards.

Core Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Support & Engagement Enablement

  • Serve as first-line support for business stakeholders engaging vendors.

  • Guide Engagement Owners through the end-to-end procurement lifecycle.

  • Provide visibility into requisition contract and vendor onboarding status.

  • Troubleshoot workflow bottlenecks and escalate issues appropriately.

  • Act as a trusted advisor on procurement policies and procedures.

Vendor Risk Process Support

  • Assist Engagement Owners in initiating vendor risk reviews within Coupa.

  • Ensure required documentation is submitted accurately and completely.

  • Monitor vendor risk workflows and follow up with Risk & Compliance or InfoSec as needed.

  • Provide status updates and ensure timely progression through approval gates.

  • Help ensure all required risk reviews are completed prior to PO issuance.

Coupa & Workflow Navigation

  • Support creation and submission of requisitions in Coupa.

  • Assist with vendor onboarding documentation and system entries.

  • Provide guidance on proper coding cost center alignment and required approvals.

  • Maintain visibility dashboards and reporting for engagement owners.

  • Identify recurring workflow friction points and recommend improvements.

Procurement Policy & Process Education

  • Help interpret procurement policies for stakeholders.

  • Provide training and job aids to improve compliance and efficiency.

  • Support rollout of updated policies and process enhancements.

  • Promote adoption of standardized procurement processes.

Operational Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure procurement requests comply with policy and system controls.

  • Support documentation retention requirements.

  • Escalate non-compliance or risk gaps to the Senior Manager.

  • Maintain organized records supporting audit readiness.

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Track and report common questions and process pain points.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline procurement workflows.

  • Support implementation of new system enhancements.

  • Assist in preparation of procurement performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance Supply Chain or related field.

  • 36 years of experience in Procurement Operations Finance Operations or Program Support.

  • Experience working in a structured procurement system (Coupa strongly preferred).

  • Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle processes.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal Risk Finance and IT.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and addition to base compensation this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
