Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional construction services to the Data Centre sector globally. Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in the Europe we are currently recruiting for an experienced Operational Project Accountant.
Based in Dublin you will oversee the financials of a Data Centre project portfolio across Europe. This role is crucial to driving financial accuracy supporting business operations and enhancing efficiency. It requires a selfmotivated and confident individual with strong leadership excellent communication skills and the ability to manage diverse priorities in a fastpaced environment
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Lead monthly financial operations including budgeting forecasting and job profitability.
- Oversee monthly invoicing for both client (outgoing) and contractor/sub-consultant (incoming) payments.
- Manage annual budgets fee projections and associated tracking processes.
D365:
- Provide expert support for the effective use of D365 ensuring accurate financial processing and forecasting.
Commission Oversight:
- Conduct monthly commission reviews to evaluate performance enhance margin and improve commission returns.
Business Generation:
- Support bid processes through commercial modelling and margin projection.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure trust and effective collaboration across teams.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or a related field.
- 710 years of relevant experience covering the responsibilities outlined ideally gained within the construction environment.
- A minimum of 3 years experience with D365 specifically in payments and forecasting.
- Strong finance/accountancy background with proven expertise in cash flow management forecasting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced skills for financial analysis and modelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with strong prioritization and time management skills.
