The Role
The Core Resource Management (CRM) team is looking for a senior software engineer to drive the building and maintenance of the Kubernetes-powered platform that underpins Anaplan. Were after someone who loves engineering is excited by the chance to use Rust to create robust and elegant solutions and wants to make an impact from day one.
Specifically youll be working on:

• A cost optimisation project to track and right-size the resources our customers are using.
• An event streaming project to track and respond to customer actions in Anaplan.
• Keeping the Anaplan platform unbreakable and able to support heavy customer workloads.

Your Qualifications

• Experience: 8 -12 years of professional software engineering or equivalent.
• Delivery: A track record of delivering complex projects into production.
• DevOps: Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining services in live environments.

Tech we use

• Rust: We use Rust every day. You dont need to be an expert yet but prior exposure will give you a head start.
• Kubernetes: Our services integrate deeply with Kubernetes. Youll be working with it from your first week.
• Helm: We install our Kubernetes applications via Helm charts so like Kubernetes youll be working with it from your first week.
• Grafana: From alerts to dashboards Grafana is what we use for observability and supporting our services. It doesnt need to be Grafana but youll need experience with an observability tool like this.
• Jenkins: We practice continuous build through Jenkins pipelines. Experience with Jenkins or an equivalent tool will help you hit the ground running.
