AmLaw 50 firm seeking an Associate Senior Associate or Counsel (3 years) to join its Compensation Benefits & ERISA Litigation practice with a focus on health & welfare plans in Atlanta.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with experience advising employers and plan sponsors on complex employee benefits matters including regulatory compliance and litigation involving health and welfare plans.
The Role
Advise clients on health & welfare plan compliance and regulatory matters
Handle matters involving HIPAA COBRA the Affordable Care Act the No Surprises Act and the Mental Health Parity & Addiction Equity Act
Support and lead ERISA litigation and investigations involving employee benefit plans
Counsel employers plan sponsors and fiduciaries on compliance risk management and plan administration
Work within a nationally recognized employee benefits practice handling sophisticated matters for major employers
Ideal Background
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
3 years of relevant experience in employee benefits ERISA or health & welfare plan matters
Experience advising on HIPAA COBRA ACA mental health parity and related regulations
Admission to the Georgia Bar or eligible for admission
Strong academic credentials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent matters
