The Equipment Service Manager leads the operations of the Maintenance and Installation Department ensuring the efficient setup installation repair and ongoing maintenance of company equipment including vending machines micro-markets and office coffee systems. This role focuses on coordinating technical teams optimizing service operations and maintaining high standards of safety reliability and customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Maintenance and Installation Department including hiring training coaching and performance management of technicians.
- Oversee service operations related to the installation maintenance and repair of vending equipment micro-markets and office coffee systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to technicians in diagnosing equipment issues and interpreting schematics.
- Coordinate equipment assembly retrofitting upgrades and installations to ensure operational efficiency and quality standards.
- Partner with clients to confirm specifications power requirements installation timelines and service needs.
- Oversee inventory management of service parts and equipment while maintaining budget guidelines.
- Plan and allocate labor resources to support installation and maintenance schedules while driving operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate service activities and support business objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Two-year certificate from a college or technical school or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification to service refrigeration components preferred.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
