ROLE SUMMARY

The Logistics Analyst as a key member of the Markets Logistics Organization and reporting to the Logistics Manager is responsible for analyzing and supporting the execution of Logistics and Distribution operations in the market which is managed by a Logistics Service Provider (LSP). This role focuses on end-to-end process analysiscovering Inbound Storage and Outbound flows for finished products within the markets Distribution Center (LSP)and ensures efficient delivery to Pfizers customers up to the point of handover.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execution of daily operations (inbound logistics outbound logistics transportation) and value-added operational activities (ex. Marketing Aids Samples Medical Devices Secondary packaging) as identified for the market coordination with ELC/Supply points 3rd party clearance agents DC operators / LSP / 3rd party vendors / freight forwarders.

  • Execute activities related to preparation communication and handover and archival of shipping and other operational documents (ex. Inbound/Shipping: invoice packing list COO/Legalization. etc Transportation: POD).

  • Provide timely and accurate information on inventory levels billing and dispatches.

  • Responsible for timely execution reporting and investigation and closure (including adjustments and archival) of markets inventory count process. Additionally execute inventory reconciliation full cycle for LSP managed operations.

  • Execute destruction operations complying with Global EHS guideline and markets formalized destruction process.

  • Executive management activities including Incident management Complaints Returns and Recalls a proactive timely and compliant manner.

  • Review and process logistics provider invoices for payment ensuring purchase orders are issued and processed on time.

  • Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives for the market where possible use insight to identify Continuous Improvement initiatives (CI Initiatives).

  • Support the Logistics Manager in verifying the accuracy of invoices and purchase orders ensuring timely booking of distribution expenses and confirming that expenses align with the budget.

  • Support the execution of warehousing and distribution operations by ensuring all activities comply with Pfizers global and local standards. This includes Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Pfizer Supply Chain Quality Agreements Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Dangerous Goods (DG) & Controlled Substances Global Security FMD/Serialization Compliance Global Trade Compliance FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) Local & Global Policies

  • Support from Logistics the strategies generated by the business units focusing on patients and customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree with 3 years or above experience in Logistics and Distribution Operations including import export customs processes and documentation in Colombia..

  • General understanding of Supply Chain E2E processes.

  • Digital skills including Microsoft Office skills (MS Word MS PowerPoint especially MS Excel) and ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Bachelors degree in industrial engineer / supply chain / logistics.

  • Experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry or similar.

  • Knowledge of Good Storage Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Analytical thinking to interpret operational data identify gaps and propose improvement solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Build and maintain successful working relationship with others; demonstrate Inclusion and Diversity mindset

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL ORENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Non-Standard Work Schedule:

  • May involve early morning evening weekend or holiday shifts to support 24/7 operations inventory counts or urgent shipments. Participation in shutdowns or special projects may also require off-shift availability.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel (typically less than 20%) may be required for supplier coordination and visits to other logistics service provider (LSP) locations or warehouses within Colombia.

Work Environment:

  • The role is primarily based in a warehouse setting and involves:

    • Frequent walking standing and climbing stairs.

    • Exposure to temperature-controlled environments.

    • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes and hard hats.

    • Handling of controlled substances dangerous goods or specialized packaging materials in compliance with GDP GMP and EHS standards.

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Primary Work Location: Based at the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) site in Bogotá Colombia.

Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Reporting Line:

Reports to the Logistics Manager but is supervised by the Logistics Coordinator.

Key Interactions:

Collaborates with Logistics Service Providers Carriers Customs Warehouses INVIMA (National Institute for Food and Drug Surveillance) the National Narcotics Fund the Order Management Team and business stakeholders.
