A well-established regional hospital in Western Australia is currently seeking ACEM trainees to join its Emergency Department as part of an ACEM-accredited training program commencing August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for doctors who are looking to gain broad emergency medicine exposure while progressing through accredited training in a supportive regional environment.
The Emergency Department is a busy regional service that manages a diverse mix of presentations including trauma medical emergencies paediatrics and complex acute care cases. As a key referral centre for the surrounding region the department provides exposure to a wide range of clinical presentations that are often less commonly seen in metropolitan settings. Trainees benefit from close collaboration with experienced FACEM specialists and supportive multidisciplinary teams who are committed to teaching and supervision. The department places a strong emphasis on procedural skills resuscitation training and developing clinical decision-making in high-acuity addition a new ICU unit is currently under development which will significantly enhance critical care capabilities at the hospital and provide trainees with valuable exposure to critical care pathways and collaborative emergencyICU management.
The hospital is located 4 hours from Perth a vibrant coastal city in Western Australia known for its relaxed lifestyle and strong sense of community.
