Avid is hiring an RN - Per Diem for client assessments.
This position will be in-office and based out of the Hickory branch and covers Catawba and the surrounding counties.
Per Diem RN - Assessments
Responsibilities:
- Manage client intake assessments from all referral sources.
- Responsible for generating client plan of treatment and care plan assessments according to a physicians order.
- Build relationships with clients to encourage compliance with care plans and client safety.
- Manage client/contract satisfaction with the highest level of customer service standards communication and documentation.
- Follow up and document all clinical concerns and incidents within the agencys timeframe.
- Follow Agency Policies and Procedures and ensure all HIPAA regulations are adhered to.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Registered Nurse (RN) who is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON)
Licensure: Must have a current unencumbered license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Must be in good standing in the applicable state of practice. Must maintain all state and federal compliance requirements for licensure and employment.
Travel: Travel is required for business purposes. The employee must have a valid drivers license issued by the state in which they work a satisfactory driving record and an operational vehicle.
Work Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical experience.
- Two years of nursing experience with compromised pediatric and adults.
- Prior experiences that would encompass clinical teaching management and supervisory practice within a nursing service organization is preferred.
- One additional year of nursing experience preferably in a hospital is required for conducting applicable training classes.
Hours of Work: As needed.
Skills and Additional Requirements:
- A specific understanding of geographical/cultural requirements of branch office is preferred.
- Must be customer service oriented and prepared to liaise with clients their families and other care providers.
- Ability to use computerized systems.
- Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident working independently.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
