Job Information:
- Classes: 195155
- Location:Blue Moin Ct. Greensboro North Carolina USA
- Student: Children small group class ages 9 and 7
- Availability: Monday Wednesday Thursday and Friday evenings (4:00pm8:00pm)
- Preferred start date: ASAP
- Lesson Frequency: 2x a week 1-hour lessons
- Current language level: Both Intermediate
- Native and other spoken languages: Native: Portuguese
- Students language needs and goals: Improve vocabulary reading interpretation and writing skills; strengthen conversational ability; build school-related vocabulary; improve comprehension without relying on literal translation; homework support
Interests:
Child (9):** Baseball soccer games Formula 1 difficulty staying focused; needs clear rationale for learning tasks
Child (7):** Fashion dance gymnastics struggles with long texts tends to translate literally into Portuguese; has difficulty focusing in online classes - Additional Information:
* Both enjoy games and interactive learning
* Prefer structured lessons with clear explanation of objectives and purpose
* Teacher should keep lessons dynamic and engaging
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored dynamic effective and engaging lessons
- Developing curricula based on learners proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
- Communicating in an efficient effective and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
- Certificate or degree in language teaching education instructional design writing language linguistics second-language acquisition or related field
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience
- Experience working with children is a must
