IPC Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking an IPC Technician to support the fabrication assembly and testing of avionics electronic systems. This role includes assembling and disassembling Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) soldering electronic components and operating electronic test equipment. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills experience working with delicate electronics and the ability to interpret engineering documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Support fabrication assembly and testing of avionics electronic systems
Assemble/disassemble LRUs and CCAs
Perform soldering on printed wiring assemblies cables and harnesses
Operate test equipment including DMM oscilloscope and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE)
Handle and test ESD-sensitive electronic components
Read and interpret engineering schematics and assembly drawings
Maintain AS9100D documentation and coordinate with Quality Assurance
Troubleshoot electronic components and systems as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years electronics technician experience
IPC Certification required
Experience with Microsoft Windows Excel and Word
Experience using electronic test equipment (DMM oscilloscopes ATE)
Strong troubleshooting organization and communication skills
Ability to work independently or within a team
Preferred
IPC-STD-001 training
Previous NASA certification
Aerospace or avionics electronics experience
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Work indoors or outdoors
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
