Job Summary
The EMI Technician performs electromagnetic inspection (EMI) on pipe and related materials to detect defects verify quality and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge handson experience and the ability to work safely in a fastpaced industrial environment.
Requirements
- Experience operating EMI Pitco equipment
- Certified Level II (EMI/UT or related NDT discipline)
- Minimum 4 years of handson experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to work in an industrial environment
- PPE required (steeltoe boots)
Job Duties
- Perform EMI inspections according to specifications
- Operate and maintain EMI Pitco equipment
- Document inspection results accurately
- Communicate findings to supervisors and quality teams
- Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning properly
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
