Key Responsibilities
Emergency veterinarians in this role will:

Triage and manage emergency patients presenting with urgent or life-threatening conditions

Develop and implement diagnostic and treatment plans

Provide care for hospitalized patients including overnight and weekend cases

Perform emergency procedures and treatments as needed

Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Communicate clearly with clients referring veterinarians and hospital staff

Participate in daily rounds with specialists to coordinate patient care

Experience & Skills Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree
-
Eligible for or currently holding a Georgia veterinary license in good standing prior to start date

DEA license or eligibility to obtain one

Experience in emergency medicine strongly preferred including small animal rotating or emergency internships
