Senior SCCM Engineer SCCM L3 Support

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior SCCM Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) to provide L3 support infrastructure management and solution design. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in SCCM architecture troubleshooting complex issues and implementing enterprise device management and patching solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 (L3) support for SCCM infrastructure and deployments.
• Troubleshoot complex SCCM issues related to device management patching and software distribution.
• Design and implement SCCM architecture and solutions based on business requirements.
• Deploy configure and manage SCCM components including:
  • Site Servers
  • Distribution Points
  • Management Points
• Monitor SCCM site components and services to ensure system availability and performance.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for SCCM incidents and recurring issues.
• Participate in customer and internal stakeholder meetings representing the SCCM team.
• Coordinate with team members and assign tasks to junior resources when required.
• Identify opportunities for automation optimization and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with patch management and endpoint security policies.
• Research and stay updated with latest End User Computing (EUC) technologies and trends.

Mandatory Skills

• Very deep understanding of SCCM architecture and concepts
• Strong expertise in:
  • SCCM Device Management
  • Patch Management
  • Software Deployment
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Experience providing L3 support for SCCM infrastructure
• Experience with SCCM deployment upgrades and maintenance

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation
• Experience in Windows OS management and enterprise device lifecycle
• Understanding of EUC technologies and endpoint security practices

Experience

• 7 years of IT experience
• 4 years of hands-on SCCM experience

Good to Have

• Experience in large enterprise SCCM environments
• Knowledge of co-management with Intune
• ITIL process knowledge
