Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support industrial automation and electrical control systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on PLC programming automation troubleshooting and electrical system design to enhance plant operations and execute capital improvement projects.
The ideal candidate is a proactive results-driven professional with strong project management capabilities and the ability to oversee contractors while ensuring safe reliable and efficient electrical systems across production facilities.
Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment

Program test and troubleshoot PLC systems

Configure and maintain industrial automation and communication networks

Lead capital and expense electrical projects including budget management

Oversee contractors and coordinate closely with maintenance teams

Ensure compliance with electrical codes and equipment safety standards

Support plant operations by diagnosing and resolving automation and electrical system issues
Required Qualifications
-
Strong hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs
-
Proven expertise in PLC programming and troubleshooting

Experience with remote I/O systems and HMIs
-
Working knowledge of Rockwell Automation software

Understanding of Industrial Ethernet communications and machine network architecture

Knowledge of electrical safety standards including NFPA 70E

Demonstrated ability to manage electrical projects and budgets
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments

Strong communication leadership and negotiation skills

Experience supervising contractors and maintenance personnel

Ability to design and implement industrial automation systems
Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or industrial automation

Hands-on experience with PLC-driven automation systems
Education

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred
