About the Opportunity
A newly developed multi-specialty veterinary hospital in the greater Chicago area is seeking a Specialty Medical Director to help lead and grow a collaborative specialty team. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified or residency-trained specialist with leadership experience who is passionate about medical excellence mentorship and building a strong hospital culture.
The Medical Director will play a key role in shaping clinical standards supporting specialist teams and guiding the hospitals continued growth while maintaining the flexibility to remain involved in clinical practice if desired.

Experience & Skills Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree

Eligible for or currently holding an Illinois veterinary license in good standing prior to start date

DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
