The 130000 square foot facility sits under one roofwith construction ranging from the original 1900 stable (now housing grades 5-8) to the2014 state-of-the-art lower school a dining commons and addition to gradelevel classrooms there are five outdoor classrooms two music rooms three art studiosand a kiln room four science labs and science gym a newly renovated library with a15000 volume collection an Idea Lab a gymnasium and a multi-purposetheater/gymnasium space a dance studio two synthetic turf fields and well-appointedoutdoor play spaces. The surrounding area of Cape Ann is filled with beautiful natural andhistorical attractions such as beaches parks preserves museums and hiking trails thatare used frequently by our students employees and families Summary:Summer at Brookwood staff members are kind responsible and reliable individuals witha desire to create a joyful playful and welcoming summer camp atmosphere. Successfulcandidates are hard-working and enthusiastic and they demonstrate stronginterpersonal skills with youth. The Summer at Brookwood Camp Nurse will oversee thehealth needs of registered Duties: Keep track of and administer daily camper medications and communicate asneeded with families about weekly drop off and pick up of medications Communicate camper allergies and other dietary restrictions with Camp Directors Support campers who need medical attention during Camp hours and follow upwith families as needed. Review medical needs of new campers added after the first day of camp Other duties as required and assignedJob Requirements: Must have a valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse License Must be CPR certified Must be trained and confident in the use of epinephrine auto-injectors (EpiPen). Employment is contingent on candidates passing a background check (CORISORI and fingerprinting)Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. during the following weeks: Mon 6/15-Thurs 6/18 (No camp 6/19) Mon 6/22-Fri 7/10 Mon. 7/6 - Fri. 7/10 Mon. 7/13 - Fri. 7/17 Mon. 7/20- Fri. 7/24 Mon. 7/27- Fri 7/31Please note: A commitment for all 6 weeks is preferred but not required Additional hours are available to train and prep for campWe strongly encourage applications from people of color LGBTQ candidates orcandidates from communities that are historically underrepresented in independentschools.
