Job Description
As a Security Officer - Main Desk Driver in Indianapolis IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial services location you will welcome employees and visitors manage access control and badging answer phones document activity and respond to alarms and other security-related concerns with calm clear communication. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity teamwork and a caring people-first approach while supporting a reliable agile and innovative operation. This is a driving post and requires a valid drivers license.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies for a financial services location.
- Greet and screen visitors issue badges and/or access credentials and maintain visitor and delivery logs in accordance with site requirements.
- Monitor lobby activity phones cameras and/or alarm panels as assigned and communicate unusual activity to site contacts and/or dispatch.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Support access control by verifying identification managing keys and/or access cards and documenting security-related incidents and service requests.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Four or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree is required.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
