Compensation
Weekly Pay: $2419 per week (based on 34.5 hours)

Position Summary
A healthcare facility in New York NY is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical for a contract assignment. The RN will provide professional nursing care to patients recovering from medical conditions or surgical procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills effective communication and the ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Assess patient conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans
Provide direct nursing care and monitor patient progress throughout recovery
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and document vital signs symptoms and treatment responses
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans medications and discharge instructions
Follow infection control guidelines and patient safety protocols
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License New York State
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Strong patient assessment critical thinking and time management skills
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American He
