What Youll Do:

• Be a fully contributing member of a Delinea sprint team

• Design develop and maintain custom integrations between ServiceNow and our platform using REST APIs IntegrationHub and Flow Designer

• Build custom workflows flows and scripted actions tailored to our business processes not out-of-the-box module configuration

• Develop scripted REST APIs (inbound) and REST Message configurations (outbound) for bidirectional data exchange between ServiceNow and our systems

• Write server-side integration logic Script Includes Business Rules Scheduled Jobs Transform Maps and Import Sets

• Build Java-based middleware services that bridge ServiceNow with our platform

• Define and maintain data mapping transformation logic and error handling strategies across integration boundaries

• Contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from architecture to design to development

• Promote secure development practices with awareness and application of OWASP principles

• Troubleshoot integration failures debug data inconsistencies and resolve performance bottlenecks across systems

• Contribute to and improve the code tooling and techniques that are shared across Platform teams

What Youll Need:

• 4-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience primarily focused on integration and custom workflow development

• 1-2 years of Java development experience comfortable building services using Spring Boot or similar frameworks

• Deep experience with ServiceNow scripting Script Includes Business Rules Client Scripts Scheduled Jobs and Scripted REST APIs

• Strong experience building ServiceNow integrations REST/SOAP APIs IntegrationHub Import Sets Transform Maps MID Server

• Solid understanding of Flow Designer and custom workflow authoring building flows subflows actions and triggers

• Experience with authentication and security patterns OAuth 2.0 API keys Mutual Auth service accounts

• Experience working with microservice ecosystems and service-to-service integrations

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented principles and JavaScript (ES6)

• Experience with large codebases unit testing and ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework)

• Strong grasp of JSON XML and HTTP/REST principles

• Experience with ServiceNow scoped applications Update Sets and deployment practices

• Proficiency in using version control systems such as Git

Wed Love to See:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent hands-on depth

• Experience with IntegrationHub custom spoke development and spoke actions

• Ability to quickly read and understand both new and existing code across ServiceNow and Java codebases

• Ability to look at the big picture come up with great new ideas and execute those ideas by writing code to make it happen

• Passionate about writing quality code and constantly honing your development skills

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies

• Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g. Azure AWS)

• Experience with DevOps practices (e.g. continuous integration continuous deployment)

• Familiarity with recent ServiceNow platform releases and their integration-related capabilities

• Experience with event-driven or message queue-based integration patterns

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
