Job Summary
We are looking for aKaiāwhina (Healthcare Assistant) to support the Taurima Te Pā Harakeke service a kaupapa Māori Health Service providing comprehensive maternity and early years health care for māmā pēpi and tamariki up to 5 years old.
Employment Status: Full Time Fixed Term until the end of June 2027
Location: Thames based mobile role covering Hauraki rohe.
This service includes but is not limited to working with midwives Well Child/ Tamariki Ora service providers and primary care providers to support a seamless wraparound service. Kaiāwhina roles support whānau to live well and to navigate their own journey to achieve pae ora. The priority for this service should be whānau at the greatest risk of health inequalities.
