About the role
The successful candidate will lead the Art department while delivering engaging lessons that encourage creativity and artistic development across the school.
The role will involve:
Leading and developing the Art department
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering an engaging and creative Art curriculum
Supporting exhibitions displays and creative projects across the school
Monitoring student progress and supporting strong academic outcomes
Mentoring and supporting other members of the department
You will play an important role in maintaining a strong creative culture within the school and encouraging students to explore a wide range of artistic styles and techniques.

The ideal candidate
Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Art
Experience teaching Art across KS3 and KS4
Leadership experience or readiness to lead a department
A creative and collaborative approach to teaching and leadership
