About the Role
As an Economics Teacher you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage students and develop their understanding of key economic principles. You will support pupils in applying theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios preparing them for success in GCSE and A-Level Economics.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging Economics lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5

• Planning and implementing differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners

• Assessing pupil progress and providing timely constructive feedback

• Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment

• Supporting curriculum development and departmental planning

• Encouraging participation in enrichment activities such as economics competitions or enterprise projects

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Have strong subject knowledge in Economics

• Be able to deliver engaging and challenging lessons to pupils of varying abilities

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Be committed to supporting pupils academic progress and personal development
