This role is embedded within the Measurement product development team. Measurement is a relatively new addition to the broader Funnel team emerging from the 2024 acquisition of Measurement startup Adtriba. Mainly based in Hamburg the Measurement product development team is composed of 15 engineers and data scientists. Generative and Agentic AI plays a pivotal role in further increasing the automation and adoption of the Measurement offering.
We are looking for a builder - someone with a startup mindset who thrives in a greenfield environment. This isnt a corporate stay-in-your-lane kind of job; we want a senior-level engineer who cares deeply about quality and can teach us new things about context management agent harnesses and emerging AI paradigms.
You will work alongside our existing Staff Data Scientist AI Shekar taking full responsibility for the AI stack. The team is embedded with the broader Measurement and Data Science team composed of Data Scientists Data Engineers Frontend and Backend.
35 years in software engineering or data science with 1-2 years of experience specifically building AI agentic applications
Strong Python skills
Familiarity with at least one or two agentic frameworks (e.g. AWS Strands)
Ability to demonstrate how you integrate AI coding tools like Cursor or Claude into your personal development workflow.
A strong product perspective with the ability to think on your feet adapt requirements and identify improvements in a user-facing dashboard.

Previous experience in marketing science or building Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) applications.
Scale the AI Stack: Share responsibility for the entire AI infrastructure moving quickly from experimentation to production.
Advance Agentic Workflows: Expand our existing chat agent to interact with all areas of the measurement platform.
Optimize Data Ingestion: Create upstream agents that interact with raw data and underlying processes entering the data hub.
Automate Onboarding: Solve the business problem of bespoke measurement by making the onboarding experience self-serve and frictionless.
Enhance Data Interpretability: Build AI features that help users find actionable insights across numerous KPIs and channels without overlooking critical details.
Collaborate: Work directly with leadership to shape requirements and provide a fresh perspective on technical flaws or opportunities.
