Job Summary
Our Research & Development department works hard on innovations for our automation our vision team you will develop existing technical specifications into commercial successful end products. Your focus is on developing your own analyses using Computer Vision algorithms written in C and/or Python. The ultimate goal is to optimize the sorting process for mail and parcels using our optical measurement and control technology.
Your Profile:
- A completed degree (bachelor/master) in Computer Science Computer Science or Engineering Physics or similar.
- 7 years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and C
- Proven experience with computer vision and image processing
- Solid understanding of multithreading and performance optimization
- Affinity with embedded hardware and Linux is an advantage
- Problem-solving skills and ability to develop accurate and efficient solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
What do we expect from you:
- Development of advanced Computer Vision algorithms for 3D analysis
- Optimization of code in Python and C for efficient execution on embedded hardware
- Implementation of computer vision algorithms using OpenCV and machine learning
- Understanding of industrial environment to provide solutions to various external influences
- Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement innovative solutions
