SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) Playwright

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with experience in Playwright to design develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications. The candidate will collaborate with developers product managers and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Design and develop automation test frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript

• Create end-to-end UI automation tests for web applications

• Perform API testing and integrate automation into test pipelines

• Maintain and improve automated test suites for reliability and performance

• Collaborate with development teams to understand features and test requirements

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions

• Execute cross-browser testing using Google Chrome Mozilla Firefox and WebKit

• Report track and verify bugs using tools like Jira

• Participate in code reviews and maintain automation best practices

• Strong experience with Playwright for UI automation

• Good knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript

• Experience with version control systems like Git

• Knowledge of API testing tools and automation frameworks

• Understanding of test design techniques and software testing lifecycle

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

• Experience with Docker or containerized testing environments

• Knowledge of performance testing tools

• Experience testing modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular
