Scrum Master III

Project Overview

Client is seeking a Scrum Master III to support multiple Agile product teams delivering enterprise software solutions. The role focuses on facilitating Scrum processes coordinating development activities and ensuring effective collaboration between product owners developers and stakeholders.

The Scrum Master will guide teams through Agile practices manage product backlogs track progress through project tools and help remove obstacles that may affect delivery timelines. This position requires strong facilitation skills Agile expertise and the ability to work in a collaborative fast-paced development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Scrum Master for multiple Agile product teams ensuring effective execution of software development projects.
• Manage and organize product backlogs so teams and stakeholders clearly understand priorities and project progress.
• Create and update Jira stories change tickets and related artifacts to support successful software releases.
• Maintain Confluence documentation including requirements meeting notes follow-up actions and release documentation.
• Facilitate planning sessions estimation meetings and quarterly development planning for upcoming work.
• Collaborate with product owners and core team members to prioritize work based on organizational goals.
• Conduct Sprint Planning meetings to review backlog items confirm story readiness and define sprint scope.
• Lead Sprint Reviews to evaluate completed work and demonstrate delivered functionality.
• Organize Sprint Retrospectives to capture lessons learned and implement process improvements.
• Facilitate daily Scrum meetings to synchronize team progress and identify blockers.
• Remove obstacles and support teams to ensure continuous progress and productivity.
• Support backlog grooming sessions with product owners to refine and prioritize user stories.
• Track and maintain Scrum team performance metrics using PJM reporting tools.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction transparency and collaboration while meeting project timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
• Recent and significant experience serving as a Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams delivering enterprise software solutions.
• Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to guide teams toward consensus and delivery goals.
• Experience working in highly collaborative fast-paced environments requiring close coordination with stakeholders.

Technical & Soft Skills

Technical Skills

• Expert knowledge of Jira Confluence and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience managing Agile artifacts product backlogs and release documentation
• Familiarity with enterprise technology environments such as Oracle and MS SQL (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or PMP certification
• Experience supporting enterprise software environments within utilities pharmaceutical banking finance insurance or other high-transaction data environments
