The responsibilities of the Architecture Designer will include but are not limited to:
- Manage and prepare detailed construction documents from concept through construction and coordinate with engineers or contractors as needed.
- Collaborate with project teams to refine designs and incorporate client feedback effectively.
- Prepare specifications and reports.
- Under the direction of the Supervising Architect may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
- May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
- Have a strong understanding of code compliance American with Disabilities Act/American Barriers Act and constructability.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture and four (4) years in architecture experience covering aspects of building design including survey design development construction documents construction administration or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Demonstrated experience with Revit
- Due to the nature of the work U.S. Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience
- Licensed Architect or on the path to licensure
- Masters degree is a plus
- Experience working in large and complex projects/programs
- Experience with government agencies/projects
- Proficiency in 3d rendering
- Strong technical skills related to visualization planning and architectural design
- Familiarity with AutoCAD
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate enthusiasm highly motivated and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work well with clients staff and consultants
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as be able to work closely with and collaborate with multidiscipline design team
