THE POSITION
Cleaning patient rooms operating theatres offices and public spaces.
Preparing rooms for new admissions and assisting with discharge cleaning.
Using approved cleaning products disinfectants and floor machinery.
Managing stock reporting issues and safely handling biohazardous waste.
Following strict health safety and infection control protocols at all times.
THE PERSON
Takes pride in high standards of cleanliness.
Respects patient privacy and understands hospital sensitivities.
Works well in a team and adapts to changing priorities.
Can obtain a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
Is willing to meet hospital immunisation requirements.
