BASIC FUNCTION: To process price and transfer purchased goods for the stores.
The hourly wage for the Material Processor position is $13.73
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Separate price and pack all purchased goods in a timely manner
- Price/transfer new goods according to department standards
- Accurately complete required paper work and account for inventory dollars
- Completely deactivate any necessary labeling according to vendor agreements
- Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the Purchased Goods area and assigned workstations.
- Scan incoming deliveries
- Routinely use a computer to check in price check scan product and process transfers.

QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education Certifications Experience)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Some mathematical ability. Retail experience preferred.
PHYSICAL/EMOTIONAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required stand walk use hands reach with hands and arms talk or hear; and occasionally required to sit climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl taste or smell and operate computer.
- The employee must often lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include distance color peripheral depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Well developed sense of responsibility and coping ability.
