Purchased Goods Processor, Part time

The Purchased Goods Processor plays an important role in advancing our mission of Changing Lives and Communities Through the Power of Work. Working in our New Goods Warehouse the Processor will accurately prepare and process merchandise this position helps ensure strong operations that support employment opportunities and community impact.

The hourly wage for the Purchased Goods Processor position is $13.73

Shifts would be Monday - Friday 6:00am-10:00am or 10:00am-2:00pm.

What Youll Do

• Unpack inspect and count items ensuring quality and identifying damaged goods.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when counting items and calculating totals.
• Perform physically demanding tasks including twisting lifting 5-50 lb boxes moving items from skids to tables and remaining on your feet throughout the shift.
• Match item numbers and descriptions price items and count inventory with precision.
• Ensure efficiency and accuracy in order processing and inventory management.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
• Must be on your feet for the entire shift

QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education Certifications Experience)

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Some mathematical ability. Retail experience preferred.

PHYSICAL/EMOTIONAL DEMANDS:

1. While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required stand walk use hands reach with hands and arms talk or hear; and occasionally required to sit climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl taste or smell and operate computer.
2. The employee must often lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
3. Specific vision abilities required by the job include distance color peripheral depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
4. Well developed sense of responsibility and coping ability.
