Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Driving Role Patrol in Renton WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols remain highly visible and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies and/or assisting with emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings production or hangar areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity hazards and/or policy violations.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification checking credentials managing visitor processing and/or helping to maintain compliance with restricted area requirements.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
- Complete security-related reports incident documentation and shift logs and/or operate monitoring systems such as cameras radios and access control equipment in accordance with post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Have a minimum of 1 years of armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Have an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
