THE ROLE

We currently have a vacancy to join our amazing team in Oche The Strand London as a Part Time Commis Chef.


As a Commis Chef you will play an important role in supporting the kitchen team and ensuring our food is prepared and presented to the highest standard. You will work closely with the Head Chef and the wider kitchen team to deliver high quality dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.


As part of the overall operations of the venue you will contribute to creating a memorable guest experience through great food and strong teamwork. We want to create a work environment where all our employees feel ownership of the concept and where everyone gets to develop both their professional and personal skills.


ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for food and enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment. You are enthusiastic about developing your culinary skills and are eager to learn from experienced chefs.


Being a team player comes naturally to you and you are always willing to support your colleagues to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly. You take pride in your work pay attention to detail and are committed to maintaining high standards in everything you do.


We are looking for someone who is motivated organised proactive and has a real passion for the food and hospitality industry.


EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED

  • Some experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
  • A willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
  • Passion for food and the hospitality industry.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
