About the Treaty Authority
The Treaty Authority is an independent entity with a mandate to facilitate the formation of treaties between the State of Victoria and First Peoples in Victoria.
The Treaty Authoritys work is grounded in Aboriginal culture Lore and Law and led collectively by a panel of five Members committed to Aboriginal self-determination and empowerment. It engages with a broad cross-section of stakeholders including the State of Victoria the First Peoples Assembly and Traditional Owners in Victoria. It plans to grow its team as it establishes and delivers its functions and Treaty negotiations develop.

About the Role
As Executive Assistant at the Treaty Authority youll play a pivotal role in supporting our historic and meaningful work. Reporting to the Executive Coordinator youll provide high-level support to two of our Members helping them focus on advancing the Treaty process with First Peoples.
This is a dynamic and rewarding position where no two days are the same. Youll manage complex diaries coordinate meetings and engagements and ensure travel and logistics run seamlessly. Youll prepare reports and correspondence capture important discussions in minutes and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders with professionalism confidentiality and care.
In this role your organisational expertise and attention to detail will directly contribute to the success of the Treaty Authoritys mission allowing you to make a real impact while thriving in a fast-paced and purposeful environment.
This is a permanent part-time position of 30.4 hours (0.8 FTE) you are welcome to spread the hours across either four or five days.
