We are seeking a proven strategic Measurement Operations Supervisor with deep experience in oil & gas measurement instrumentation and field operations to lead and strengthen our field measurement operations in Artesia NM.
In this role you will provide operational leadership for measurement operations across the state of New Mexico overseeing multiple supervisory levels responsible for field measurement technicians custody transfer systems and measurement services across several territories. You will be accountable for operational performance workforce leadership measurement integrity and the safe compliant delivery of services throughout the region. This role also serves as a key operational leader responsible for ensuring the reliability accuracy and regulatory compliance of custody transfer measurement systems supporting critical energy infrastructure across the region.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands oil & gas measurement operations and can effectively lead teams in a fast-paced field environment.
What Youll Do
- Oversee custody transfer measurement operations including meter proving LACT units gas measurement systems sampling systems and related instrumentation
- Ensure measurement accuracy calibration verification and system integrity in accordance with API AGA GPA and regulatory standards
- Supervise and support frontline supervisors and technicians performing meter calibration proving inspections and troubleshooting of measurement equipment
- Maintain accountability for meter factors calibration records measurement documentation and data integrity
- Manage preventative maintenance and verification schedules for measurement systems and instrumentation
- Coordinate workforce planning technician scheduling and equipment deployment to support field measurement services
- Monitor operational KPIs related to measurement performance safety productivity and service quality
- Serve as the escalation point for measurement discrepancies meter performance issues and technical client concerns
- Ensure accurate measurement reporting data validation and custody transfer documentation
- Support investigations involving measurement variances equipment failures or data discrepancies including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Identify and implement measurement process improvements and best practices to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What Makes You a Great Fit
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree preferred
- 5 years of leadership experience overseeing multi-site oil & gas measurement operations including supervision of field measurement technicians or teams
- Strong working knowledge of custody transfer measurement systems equipment meter proving sampling systems and associated instrumentation
- Proven ability to manage operational budgets control costs and optimize resource allocation within measurement service operations
- Solid understanding of industry measurement standards and regulatory requirements (API AGA GPA and applicable compliance standards)
- Experience reviewing and validating measurement data meter factors calibration records and field documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
- Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record

Work Environment & Travel Requirements
- Full-time role requiring regular presence in both field environments and onsite office operations
- Regional travel required (up to 50%)

- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and industrial environments
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds as needed
