Underwriting Analyst Excess Construction

Position Overview

Candidates should be organized disciplined insurance underwriting professionals that can work effectively in a dynamic environment andpossessthe following:

The Underwriting Analyst willbe responsible forfile set up pre-underwriting review quote set-up binding invoicing report development and maintenance and policy issuance.

Additionally administrative support requirementsincludingphone management and information management.

Frequent interaction with underwritersbrokersand agents isrequired.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on information needed from brokers
  • Policy issuance and endorsement processing
  • Premium booking
  • File creation and Maintenance
  • Policy number assignment
  • Binder creationissuanceand processing
  • Underwritingassistance
  • Research on companiesutilizingweb
  • Help prepare various reports asrequired
  • Other duties as directed by the department manager

Skills and Experience Required:

Candidate should be organized disciplined insurance support professionals that can work effectively in a dynamic environment andpossessthe following:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient with Excel and Microsoft applications
  • Innate time management capabilities
  • Ability to handle multipletaskand prioritize
  • A self-starter
  • Experience Preferred
  • Great communicationskills
  • Detail oriented
