As the Manager of Media youll support the execution and day-to-day management of media strategies that drive brand growth customer engagement and retail performance. This role helps ensure media investments are executed accurately optimized for performance and measured against business objectives. Youll partner closely with internal teams agency partners and Best Buy Ads organization to deliver effective insight-driven media plans that support both brand equity and conversion.
This role is hybrid which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield Minnesota and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What youll do
Design and execute integrated media plans across brand and shopper channels ensuring campaigns are launched accurately and aligned with category priorities and marketing objectives
Manage and optimize media campaigns that connect brand awareness consideration and conversion using performance data and audience insights to inform adjustments
Serve as a primary point of contact for cross-functional partners and external media agencies ensuring alignment on media plans recommendations and execution
Support media measurement and reporting by partnering with analytics teams to track performance and contribute to measurement approaches (e.g. MMM MTA incrementality testing)
Coordinate with creative channel owners brand strategy partner category marketing product and retail teams to ensure campaigns are properly implemented and aligned with broader initiatives
Stay informed on media channels retail media platforms and emerging tools applying learnings to improve execution and operational efficiency
Basic qualifications
6 years of experience in digital media strategy planning and/or buying in an agency advertiser or publisher setting
Expertise in shopper marketing integrated media planning across digital channels and the development of partner-led campaigns
Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross functional collaboration.
Ability to translate insights into compelling strategic recommendations and communicating insights effectively to cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred qualifications
Familiarity with measurement frameworks and campaign performance analysis
Ability to navigate ambiguity and support teams through change
