Job Summary

SCHEDULE: 8 hour shifts

Pay: $14 per hour

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Operate and maintain floor care equipment including auto scrubbers burnishers buffers extractors and wet vacuums
Perform stripping sealing and waxing of hard floors.
Burnish and polish floors to maintain high-gloss slip-resistant surfaces.
Shampoo carpets and extract soils using commercial carpet cleaning equipment.
Identify floor damage wear patterns or safety hazards and report to leadership.
Ensure high-traffic areas meet hospital presentation standards.
Follow OSHA CDC and hospital safety guidelines.
Wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
Report maintenance issues safety hazards or supply shortages promptly.
Participate in ongoing training related to infection prevention and workplace safety.
Interact professionally and compassionately with patients and hospital staff.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPPA compliance.
May have to perform other duties as required.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 19years of age
High School Diploma or GED
Previous experience in floor cleaning preferred.
Ability ro operate heavy floor equipment safely.
Ability to lift 40-50lbs push equipment bend and stand for extended periods of time.
Minimum of one to two years in a professional work environment required.
Authorizedto work for any employer within the United States.
Must meet the healthcare facilitys pre-assignment and medical requirements.
Must pass all onboarding screening processes.

Works well independently and as part of a team.
Ability to adequately operate apps/technology on a tablet and learn new software that may have to be applied to the daily tasks for this role.

Ability to lift heavy loads reach and stoop.
Role may include assignmentsin Emergency Room or Behavioral Health Units.

Role requires continuous physical engagement including walking and standing for extended periods of time.
