Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled IBM ELM Solution Architect responsible for solution designing architecture developing and customizing plugins/extensions for IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools such as DOORS Next Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Engineering Test Management (ETM). The ideal candidate will have experience working with Jazz-based architecture and REST/OSLC APIs.
The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with IBM ELM tools (DOORS Next EWM ETM)

Key Responsibilities:
Define and document scalable maintainable architectures using IBM ELM suite (DOORS Next Engineering Workflow Management Engineering Test Management Global Configuration Management). Lead technical design sessions and propose end-to-end solutions for systems engineering and software development lifecycle needs.
Develop and maintain solution roadmaps aligned with enterprise ALM transformation goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify future needs and translate them into actionable architectural plans.
Design integrations with third-party tools using OSLC REST APIs and RTC SDK.
Should be able to consolidate all changes and deliver them with proper timelines.
Provide technical support for deployed plugins resolve defects and issues.
Maintain documentation related to custom development and configuration.
Upgrade and maintain ELM environments and developed plugins during system updates.

Functional Skill:

1. Agile Methodologies (Should know the basics of SCRUM Waterfall and SAFE) - Mandatory
2. Requirements Management - Mandatory
3. Test Management - Mandatory
4. Knowledge of IBM ELM - Mandatory
5. Change Management - Desired

Technical Skill:

1. Tools: IBM ELM PureVariants SmartFacts DOORS Windchill Modeller - Mandatory
2. Rest API proficiency: Experience with designing and consuming RESTful APIs - Mandatory
3. Python Programming: Proficiency in Python for scripting and application development - Optional
4. Git-based VCS: Git-based VCS Familiar with version control systems based on Git - Desired
5. OSLC Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC). - Mandatory


Preferred Qualification:
. Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
. Certifications in IBM ELM SAFe or System Architecture.
. 10 years of Experience in automotive rail or similar domain
