Lead DevOps Engineer (SWF)

Position - Lead - DevOps Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in DevOps practices service owner.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building automation solutions enhancing CI/CD pipelines improving platform reliability and collaborating closely with development and operations teams to deliver scalable and secure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

DevOps & Automation

• Design implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (ZUUL CI GitHub Actions Jenkins etc.).
• Automate provisioning deployment and configuration management.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform Ansible or Pulumi(Python version).
• Develop observability and alerting solutions (Prometheus Grafana ELK CloudWatch etc.)
• Hand on experience on DevOps AWS Kubernetes Docker is must.

Python Development

• Develop automation tools scripts and internal services using Python.
• Build and maintain REST APIs microservices or backend utilities to support DevOps workflows.
• Optimize and refactor existing Python code for performance and reliability.
• Integrate Python-based solutions with cloud services CI/CD systems and monitoring tools.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure high availability performance and security in cloud-native environments.

Collaboration & Reliability

• Work closely with other engineers product owners and Munich teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation and tooling.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
• Contribute to peer PR reviews

Required Skills

• 612 years of hands-on experience in Devops area.
• Proficiency in Docker Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts.
• Experience with at least one CI/CD tool (GitHub Actions ZUUL CI Jenkins).
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform Ansible Pulumi).
• Good understanding of networking distributed systems and cloud fundamentals.
• Hands on exp into Kibana Graphana monitorign tools
• Hands on exp into handlign Sevice working as service owner
• Python scrittping

Good to Have

• Familiarity with SRE practices (SLAs/OLAs error budgets incident response).
• Knowledge of security best practices for DevOps pipelines.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service automation tools.

Education

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or equivalent experience.
