Description

The Customer Services Assistant as part of the Parking and Transportation Services Customer Service Team will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to the USF campus community. Responsibilities include processing payments for parking permits and citations as well as responding to customer inquiries regarding parking via phone email and in person. This position requires a professional demeanor effective communication skills and the ability to manage a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities

Duties:

  • General clerical support such as filing mail distribution data entry basic document creation and providing support.
  • Assist PATS customers with the purchase of parking permits.
  • Provide friendly professional customer service to PATS customers.
  • Assist PATS guests by answering the phone appropriately and/or referring them to the appropriate office staff.
  • Operate office machines and equipment.
  • Input data in an accurate and timely manner.
  • File and archive documents.
  • Maintain a clean and visually appealing work environment.
  • Maintain office supply inventory.
  • Route incoming and process outgoing mail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Average Number of Hours per Week: 20 hours per week

Schedule: Based on operational needs but flexible around your academic schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Applicant must have a current Federal Work Study (FWS) award for the 2025-2026 academic year to be considered for this position.Applicants are asked to demonstrate proof of their FWS award by printing theirAward Offer screen from Student Self Service. The applicant must be a currently enrolled student in good academic standing.

Preferred Qualifications:Previous customer service experience and proficiency in using Microsoft Office products such as Word Excel and Outlook.
