Job Summary
Summary: The Fresher Accountant role is designed for recent graduates with a background in commerce or finance to kickstart their career in accounting. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring compliance with financial standards. The accountant will work closely with senior team members to manage accounts payable and receivable process transactions and contribute to monthly financial closing activities. The role offers a strong foundation in core accounting functions and provides valuable hands-on experience in a structured financial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Record sales purchase and expense entries in accounting software.
- Support invoice preparation and documentation.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and basic financial reporting.
- Maintain proper filing of bills vouchers and financial documents.
- Collaborate with senior accountants during monthly closing activities.
Requirements
- / / BBA (Finance) qualification.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with Tally / ERP software and MS Excel.
- Good analytical and numerical ability.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
