ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for aHead ofStrategywho will play a criticalrolein ensuring wesuccessfully evolve anddeliver our strategyoverthe coming willbe responsible fordriving our strategic agenda fromarticulation to execution.
You will report into ourGroup FinanceDirector with directworking with the CFO andhighexposure to thebroaderExec andBoard andwillwork with teams right across intention is that this role will be a route into our Group for a leader who wants to develop a general management career in a pure-play digital business who are listed on the London Stock Exchange as part of the FTSE 250 index.
This role is based at our London HQ in Soho (Dean Street). Weoperatea hybrid working model where we spend 40% ofthemonthin the office the rest can be worked from home.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You willbeworkingwithstakeholders across theGrouptoshape our strategic priorities as well as ensurewe deliver our ambitious growth plans this would include:
Support the business in articulating itsstrategic goalsensuring they arealigned to our missionand values
Lead Executive and Board Strategy Daysdefining and preparingappropriatecontentfor this senior audienceas well asfacilitatingproductive in-room conversations and decision making
Leadtheannual strategic planning processsupporting initiativeassessmentprioritisationandbusinessobjectivesalignmentas well asdrivinghigh levelsofengagementand ownership fromtheSeniorLeadershipCommunity
Build strong relationships acrossalllevels andfunctionsto effectively supportthe Exec and the Senior Leadership Community in formulating strategic plans for their areas and presenting these in a compelling way to the Board
Lead theend-to-endprocess for assessing different strategic opportunities including research into new areas toidentifyattractive growth venues
Monitordeliveryof strategicinitiativesandregularly reportprogress againststrategic milestones andKPIstoExec andBoard
Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders ensuring clear and consistent communication of our strategic direction and progress
Identifyandchampionopportunities for innovation and continuous improvement withing the organisation
Developexpertisein our markets competitor landscape as well as trendsimpactingour industryso you cancontinuously challenge our thinking on driving the business forward
Work closelywiththeFinance andCorp Dev teamassistingwithtarget assessment andcommercial diligencewhenrequired
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Provenstrategy consulting experiencefrom a top-tier consultancy
Preferably proven successin an in-house corporate strategy role preferably in a digital business
Strong analytical and problem-solving skillswith the ability to interpret complex data and make informed strategic decisions
Demonstrated ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
A real focus on the customer and on ensuring that everything we do delivers a great outcome for our customers
Proveninfluencing and relationship building skills
Comfortable with challenging the business on complex data driven decisions
Strong presenter and communicator with an ability to tell the story behind plans and numbers in a way that drives insight and action
