Senior Sales Consultant Energy Efficiency & Sustainability

As a Senior Sales Consultant Energy Efficiency & Sustainability at Honeywell you will proactively identify develop and manage a disciplined sales process from lead generation to purchase order. Your role will involve establishing and nurturing strategic commercial relationships with key customers by anticipating their sustainability needs and ensuring that the most compliant value propositions are presented at every step from sale to execution. You will be expected to deliver strong profitable top-line growth through new customer acquisition and the exploration of new opportunities within the German market.

You will report directly to our Sales Director and work remotely with 50% DACH-based travel along with international travel as needed.

We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Sales Representative (m/f/x) to be a key member of the European Energy and Sustainability sales team. You will leverage your ESCO market knowledge business development skills relationship networks and technical expertise to provide customers with market-leading energy efficiency and sustainability solutions. Your ability to cultivate long-term trusted advisor relationships especially with new accounts and to meet sales targets in a fast-paced highly matrixed environment is critical.

In this role you will demonstrate a strong understanding of public and private customers strategic zero-carbon drivers and translate their sustainability visions into compelling value propositions and financial requirements. You will engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations and utilize your extensive knowledge of market facilitators consultants general contractors and advisors/planners in the assigned region. Additionally you will collaborate internally across multiple functions to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer propositions while employing a structured approach using a robust Management Operating System (MOS) to fulfill essential sales forecasting and reporting requirements on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote energy efficiency and sustainability solutions.
  • Engage with clients to understand their energy needs and provide customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of projects and solutions.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5 years of consultative selling experience in ESCO markets.
  • Proven track record of success in selling zero/low-carbon solutions energy efficiency and/or renewable energy solutions including microgrids.
  • Strong understanding of energy performance contracting (EPC) and related financing schemes.
  • Established network with key industrial/manufacturing accounts across Europe focused on energy efficiency energy resilience potential and/or decarbonization targets.
  • Experience in prospecting opportunities in targeted market segments and acquiring new customers.
  • Strong ability to deliver results and execute strategic and creative value propositions until contract closure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to empowerment.
  • High sense of urgency agility and goal orientation thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in German and English.
