Job Summary

Bishop Hendricken High School a Catholic college-preparatory school serving young men in grades 8 through 12 seeks a dynamic and mission-driven Development & Fundraising Director to lead and grow the schools advancement efforts. The Director will design implement and manage a comprehensive fundraising program while advancing the mission vision and long-term sustainability of Bishop Hendricken through comprehensive development strategies. The ideal candidate is a disciple of Jesus Christ and a strategic thinker and relationship builder. We are seeking a highly organized professional with a passion for Catholic education who is driven to help others participate in the Churchs mission of Catholic education through their generosity. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Planning Under the supervision of and in partnership with the President/Principal and CFO develop and execute a comprehensive annual and multi-year advancement plan that supports the schools mission strategic goals and long-term financial stability. Work with the President/Principal and the CFO to set fundraising goals. Annual Fund & Major Gifts Oversee and grow the Annual Fund program. Identify cultivate solicit and steward major gift prospects. Manage major gift cultivation solicitation and stewardship efforts. Develop planned giving and capital campaign strategies as needed. Track and report fundraising metrics and donor engagement outcomes. Alumni & Donor Relations Partner with school leadership board members and other stakeholders to strengthen donor relationships and expand philanthropic support. Strengthen alumni relations programs to increase engagement pride and philanthropic support. Lead donor stewardship initiatives to ensure meaningful recognition and engagement. Coordinate regular communications including impact reports appeals and donor acknowledgments. Event Planning Fundraising & Community Engagement Facilitate and oversee all fundraising and development events from planning to debrief including galas golf tournaments alumni gatherings and special campaigns. Lead efforts to engage alumni parents parish partners and the broader community in meaningful ways that support the mission of the school. Represent the school at community and development-related functions. Operations & Administration Maintain accurate donor records and data integrity within the schools CRM system (BlackBaud). Manage the Development Office budget. Supervise development staff and coordinate with marketing and admissions teams. Ensure professionalism and confidentiality in all donor interactions. Qualifications Catholic in good standing Minimum of five (5) years of experience in fundraising development and/or advancement leadership. Bachelors degree required Masters degree preferred. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated professionalism discretion and ethical standards. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Experience in event planning and donor stewardship. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with donor databases and fundraising software. Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
