Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Engineer II under the general direction of the Manager Quality Assurance Engineering is a key contributor to ensuring the delivery of reliable highquality software products. Operating within a fastpaced Agile environment this role is responsible for driving test strategy implementing and maintaining automated and manual testing solutions and owning the quality outcomes of assigned features and components.

A quality assurance engineer is responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure high-quality software delivery. Collaborating within an agile framework with engineering product management and design teams they identify test strategies troubleshoot quality issues and provide detailed defect analysis. This role also involves creating documentation optimizing departmental processes and preparing analytical reports.
Your day-to-day job will consist of:
- Collaborate with Product & Engineering team members in an Agile framework to deliver highquality solutions through iterative sprints and scheduled release cycles.
- Analyze and internalize software requirements functional designs and technical designs.
- Apply strong technical expertise to assess codechange risk and define appropriate test and automation strategies.
- Automation coding skills in Java/TypeScript is required.
- Leverage AI tools for test plan generation and to accelerate test automation development for overall testing efficiency.
- Maintain automation test suite with high quality and reliability.
- (Preferred) Experience with security performance and accessibility testing practices and tools.
- Validate defect fixes to ensure issues are fully resolved and do not introduce regressions.
- Identify quantify and clearly communicate software risks and propose robust mitigation strategies.
- Uphold established QA standards processes and best practices while actively contributing to ongoing improvements.
- Provide accurate estimates for assigned tasks and deliverables.
- Complete ownership of the overall quality of the product.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of QA experience in both manual testing and automation coding experience.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent degree required
- Experience with using AI tools for testing
- Ability to program in Java JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Test Automation experience preferrably in the programming languages specified
- Problem solving troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Understanding of SQL in order to manipulate and validate test data
- Understanding of XML HTML
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills
