Job Summary
Job Title: Tech Analyst
Location: Montreal QC (Onsite)
Type: Contract
Role Overview
- Join the UNIX Engineering team to design build and maintain large-scale Linux infrastructure and virtualization platforms.
- You will work on configuration management automation and backend systems supporting a globally distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance a global VMware-based virtualization platform
- Develop backend tools and provisioning systems (APIs/CLI)
- Automate configuration and system management using Ansible
- Ensure platform scalability stability and performance
- Collaborate with global teams on system design and improvements
Required Skills
- Strong UNIX/Linux fundamentals
- Python development experience (backend systems frameworks)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git Jenkins)
- Troubleshooting across OS network and infrastructure
Good to Have
- Experience with VMware / large-scale infrastructure
- Exposure to enterprise/global environments
- Knowledge of additional languages (Erlang Prolog)
